Click, Quip and Trip

You'd think that querying literary agents might be as simple as coming up with a cleverly crafted letter which pitched your piece of work and then copying and pasting that to any and every agency email address you could get your hands on. 

Well, you'd be wrong. At least if you retain any notion of actually achieving representation as a result of grabbing someone's attention in the industry. However tedious a task it is, I do find a bit of pleasure in the potential treasure hunt.
